President Hudson

America witness its first African America elected into the Presidency of the United States Nov. 4. It's a great feeling for a lot of Americans, especially at a time the country is looking for a hero and leadership. It’s definitely a great feeling for some people and I can definitely see it on people's faces as I walked to the Metra this morning for work. As I was crossing an alley way this morning a truck came to a sudden halt. The driver then waves me by then proceeds out of the alley, but not before yelling "OBAMA". I told a good friend about the moment I just expressed to you guy and she stated "last night was a remarkable moment. Get use to it. You’re a gorgeous educated black man you’re just Obama to every1 now". For the most part every surrounding character in my life expresses an overwhelming feeling of this elections and gratitude.  This man represents change for a better America.  The biggest question that I face is how I feel about the history I just have witness, and do I feel the same as everyone else I have come across today.  I will be honest with you all, I really don't know how or what to feel.  I'm excited that he is the first African American to become president.  It’s great for African Americans in general and minority in general.  I’m not saying I have no feeling on the matter I just don't know how to feel and the only thing that comes to mind is change.  So for now, we'll say I feel change is knocking on the door.  I figure it’s a matter opening the door.  I'll express more on this issue after the President inauguration and at that time I will have more feeling on the matter.  But till then how do you all feel after our new president of the United State and why?  Who knows, I may be in the next running in the near future.

A feeling of accomplishment and progression is what I feel. I feel that as a nation we were able to look past all of the things that cloud our judgement and make the right choice. Our economy is looking bleak and we needed a boost of confidence to help us see the light at the end of the tunnel. Go for it President Hudson, maybe you too can give us hope for our future. But remember what I said about the white house.
